Seed to Plate Project

This report was prepared by the Cirrus Consulting Group for the London Community Resource Centre in 2010.  It contains detailed information and recommendations resulting from an objective review of the  watering practices, maintenance techniques and environmental sustainability of the London’s Community Gardens.

Best Practices for Community Gardens Report

The London Community Resource Centre had the pleasure to work with 5 students from the Community Se7rvice Learning Program at the University of Western Ontario.  The Global Health Promotion students came with enthusiasm and a eagerness to learn while making a contribute to our resource section of the website.  Their effort is greatly appreciated.  Within the report that they compiled, I hope that you find information that is both thought provoking and  useful if you are interested in starting a community garden or wanting to enhance the program that you have in place.
