GOVERNANCE BOARD

APRIL 2018 – MARCH 2019

ERIN O'LEARY

CHAIR

CHRISTINE LEONARD

DIRECTOR

Christine is a Marketing Specialist at London Life. During her sales and marketing career, she’s held roles at CIBC, Western Union and Ontario Flower Growers and London Community Resource Centre.  She holds an undergraduate degree from Brock University in Communication Studies and Business. Christine first got involved with LCRC as a volunteer. Their mission to improve the collective well-being of the community through food education resonated with her belief in the power of home cooking.

GREG SIMPSON

DIRECTOR

Greg is a proponent of the reconnecting of neighbourhoods through shared spaces. Community gardens are a lovely example of this reconnection. He is father to a wonderful 5 year old gardener, as well as a practitioner of yoga, and a vintage motorcycle enthusiast. Greg is the Manager of one of London’s finest restaurants…Waldo’s on King.

ERICA GRAHAM

DIRECTOR

Erica is an elementary school teacher for the Thames Valley District School Board. She currently teaches science to grades 7 and 8. She is passionate about education that focuses on healthy living and stewardship of the planet. She dreams of the day when every public school integrates school gardens into their curriculum. School gardens are a wonderful way to teach practical knowledge like where food comes from, how to take care of plants and how to cook using fresh ingredients. Erica firmly believes in the power of the forces of education and community, and can see both of these forces present in the London Community Resource Centre.
