On Wednesday, I was at the Mazak’s asparagus farm just after the torrential downpour overnight. Their power equipment was bogged down in the mud and they were harvesting by hand. It was a good reminder that our farmers work very hard and sometimes in very difficult conditions so we can eat healthy, delicious food.
Sarah and Barry’s organic asparagus certainly qualifies, as do their ultra-fresh eggs!! If you don’t know where to find them, we will be happy to post another link!
