Prosciutto and Herbed Goats Cheese on Pear Rounds
(yields approximately 10 pieces)
2 pears (firm, but ripe)
1/3 cup herbed goats cheese
2 slices prosciutto
2 tbsp. honey
Wash the pears, and slice into discs about 1/4 inch thick. Use a paring knife to remove a small section of the core in the middle of each disk if preferred. Arrange on a serving platter.
Slice the prosciutto into thin strips, lengthwise, about 6 strips per slice.
Place 1-2 strips of prosciutto in a neat bundle on top of each slice of pear.
Crumble the goats cheese and divide between your slices of pear to top each slice.
Finally, drizzle honey over top of each piece, and enjoy!
